How to Add Variation to Your Makeup with Color

Playing with Colors is a Great Way to Add Variation to Your Makeup

Photoshoots are a great way to express yourself and celebrate your beauty. Not only do photos capture the way you look, but they also carry the memories of certain times. However, making sure you look camera-ready is very important.

When it comes to makeup for photos it differs from the makeup you would do for events. Cameras pick up different things than our eyes do. So, having the right makeup for photo sessions can make your photos look even better.

When having a photo shoot you want to make the most out of your appointment. However, if you use the same makeup and props in every photo, they can all turn out too similar.

That’s why changing your makeup throughout the photoshoot can make a significant difference.

Team Polished is a company that offers hair and makeup services that help make people feel special for their big events.

We offer various beauty packages, so you can find the one that fits your needs for the day.

Our team offers touch-ups and makeup changes to adjust and perfect your makeup during the photoshoot. This also works great for special events!

For example, changing the lipstick color can change the way your whole makeup looks. Playing with colors in this way works well if you are changing outfits during the event, or you just want to bring a breath of fresh air to your look.

Tweaking your makeup look in this way also works amazingly well for photos, as it allows you to get the most out of them.

By introducing small makeup changes, your photos can have a whole new vibe to them.

During this shoot, our Polished MUA team changed the lipstick color to match the flower she had in hand. This resulted in photos that exude different energy.

We started with a nude lipstick to draw attention to the eyes.

Next, bright and bold red lipstick gave the photos a classic and sexy feel complimenting the red rose.

The focus was to create photos that radiate natural beauty.

To complete the photoshoot, Team Polished applied a mauve lip color. This pinky nude color, when matched with the right props gives the pictures a demure look.

Changing your makeup during an event or a photoshoot is a great way to experiment with different looks. It can also be a great way to make a transition from one another part of your event.

Polished can guide you through the process and help you make the most of it.

Get the Most Out of Taking Your Portraits

Here Is How You Can Get the Most Out of Taking Your Portraits

Whether you decide to take portraits of yourself as a part of an event, or you just want to celebrate yourself and your beauty, makeup plays a big part in it. To get stunning photos, you need flattering makeup, a good hairstyle, and a willingness to experiment.

Natural makeup works amazingly well for portraits as it enhances the natural beauty. It also keeps the makeup looking skin-like, which works amazingly well for portraits.

Polished is a team of skilled makeup artists and hairstylists who excel in making the customers feel confident and alluring.

We specialize in airbrush makeup that looks flawless throughout the entire day. It also works excellently for photoshoots, as it is perfectly blended, made to look like your skin.

Makeup that looks like real skin is the best for portraits as the camera picks up on any imperfection, cakey or unblended makeup.

To introduce more variation to the portraits, our team changed the makeup throughout the shoot. Starting with the natural no-makeup makeup look photos show her raw beauty. Her hair flowing naturally further accentuates it. Red lipstick is used to represent power and strength.

Starting with a matte red shade gives the makeup an iconic pin-up look. After taking photos with the matte lipstick, the gloss on top adds a simple twist. It makes the makeup look luxurious and enticing.

The combinations of makeup with hairstyle changes allow each photo to look different and unique. For the final look, our makeup artist applied gloss on top of the eyelids. This look emphasizes the eyes and the lashes, highlighting her femininity.

Taking portraits should be an exciting experience that strengthens the relationship you have with yourself. A great way to make them more fun is to introduce the hair and makeup changes.

Having spotless and well-blended natural makeup as a complexion is the most important part.

Polished offers touch-ups that can be used to change the makeup and bring a twist to your portraits.
